Attack 13

Attack 13 revolves around Bussaba, a volleyball player who enjoyed bullying others, was found dead by hanging in a gym, causing chaos and horror among other team members.

Introduction

Attack 13 one of those stories where it had a good vision, but they felt it needed something different, so they swerved out of the lane and turned the story over its head, as crazy as it sounds, it turned out to be good. An awesome surprisingly good watch!

“Jinhandra, a new student who resists Bussaba, a sadistic high school volleyball bully. After Bussaba hangs herself following a violent altercation, she returns as a vengeful spirit, haunting and killing students within three days”

Characters

The cast was great—though I’m not familiar with any of them (yes, not one), each and everyone of them delivered their end. Acting was up to par and really made the audience feel for them.

The types of characters/personalities involved were the usual group of friends and they had chemistry.

Great Effects

The VFX and SFX were good, though sometimes the visual effects were a bit too much that it looked comical at times. Sounds were creepy and it was great!

Twists and Turns

At first, I thought it was too much, the way they make you think about who did what. But as the story goes on and slowly everything falls into pieces, its great! It was a well laid out plan that came to fruition.

Satisfying Ending

I don’t know if its just me, but I found the ending to be “satisfying”—don’t confuse it with “deserving”. I’ll leave it at that.

Final Thoughts

It was a good watch, creepy with some proper gore and a couple of jump scares. I’d recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a good scare. Story was good, though not unique, it was still properly told. The Medium (2021) is one I’d recommend for Thai horror.
