Read Time: 3 minutesThis has been one of my most memorable blind watch experience, it really caught me off guard as these aren't the kind of films I watch—now every time someone asks for a drama/love story film, this is the only one that comes to mind. Definitely recommending this film, I'm actually surprised that there were few mentions of this on threads and forums.
Read Time: 2 minutesThis film about cannibalism sparked controversy across the globe, banned in over 50 countries, ironically not because of cannibal, but because of real animal cruelty. Honestly, I had to watch around 5-6 gory films and Cannibal Ferox to top it all off before going into this one, just so I'd be desensitized a bit; and yes, I watched the 96 minutes uncut version.
Read Time: 3 minutesThe way they showed the scale of the disaster was not as large as how they did it in "2012", this was mostly shown from their perspective, some aerial shots, mostly on land, but not as large of a scale. They were able to answer that issue though through news reports that were shown throughout the film.

Read Time: 3 minutesHer every action is burdened by trauma/guilt, hoping to free herself from it's grasp. This also reminded me of "Possum (2018)", who also tackled the same subject. Trauma took on a form itself, and seemed like it acted on its own, it was very well done and unique. It added that supernatural feel to it, and gave the viewer a deeper understanding of it.
Read Time: 3 minutesThe ending of War Of The Worlds, at first seemed like a shortcut, production-wise, reminded me of "The Mist" but not as dark, and it did make sense. The reason was simple yet it encompasses everything that has happened so far in the story, it was properly paced, and the timing for that extra dramatic effect was on point as well. It was very well done.
Read Time: 4 minutesThe League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is like a bookworm's film fantasy come true. Most of the iconic novel characters coming together to defeat one super villain. It sounds cheesy, yes it is. Its really cool, specially if you've watched it when it came out.

Read Time: 3 minutesIn my opinion, Errementari is incredibly underrated, deserving much more recognition for its artistry and impact than it currently receives. It’s a hidden gem that offers a fresh perspective on familiar themes, making it a must-watch for anyone who appreciates thoughtful cinema.
Read Time: 2 minutes"Pearl" was definitely better than "X" in all aspects in my opinion. The history and lore of the villain really made me interested and it didn't disappoint. Definitely recommending this one for modern slasher fans.
