The creature design, voice, and personality set them apart. They have a unique background history. This history explains how they came to be, most, if not all, unless I'm mistaken.

Honestly, I had to watch around 5-6 gory films and Cannibal Ferox to top it all off before going into this one, just so I'd be desensitized a bit; and yes, I watched the 96 minutes uncut version.

They were able to answer that issue though through news reports that were shown throughout the film.

The reason was simple yet it encompasses everything that has happened so far in the story, it was properly paced, and the timing for that extra dramatic effect was on point as well. It was very well done.

Read Time: 2 minutes"Pearl" was definitely better than "X" in all aspects in my opinion. The history and lore of the villain really made me interested and it didn't disappoint. Definitely recommending this one for modern slasher fans.
